The Burrup Peninsula Road Project involves the widening of the Burrup Peninsula Road and the realignment of Hearsons Cove Road. Survey Dynamics have been contracted to provide surveying services on the project including:
- Installation of Control and GPS network
- Set out of clearing boundaries for the preservation of heritage and archeological sites
- Setup and support for machine control on both GPS and UTS of all makes for heavy machinery like graders, excavators and dozers
- Design and setout of new culverts and extension of pre-existing culverts
- Identifying, locating and setout of pre-existing underground services such as the Horizon Power cable, Telstra line and the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group gas main
- Design and setout of the West Pilbara Water Supply – Burrup Road Water Main realignment
- Design and setout of other concrete structures such as retaining walls, gas protection slabs, culvert base slabs, aprons, walls and water-main support footings
- Setout of pavement markings, traffic signs and concrete traffic islands
- As-constructed reporting of all pavements, batters, culverts and all other built structures
- Reporting of project quantities broken down into separate pay items for the monthly payment claims
