The Flying Fish Haul Road project involves the construction of a 26km haul road and LV road from the existing Eliwana mine to the new Flying Fish mine for autonomous road trains. There is approximately 1,500,000m3 of fill and 250,000m3 of cut. 86 culverts will be installed along the road.
Survey duties include: Culvert setout & asbuilt, formation checks for height and width, drone flights for end of month and base surfaces, final asbuilt of the finished road, clearing setout, machine control upload and fault finding, and installation of survey control points.
