Kwinana Freeway Upgrade Project

This contract is undertaking the 4.5km widening and resurfacing of Kwinana Freeway between Leach and Roe highways from two to three traffic lanes in each direction. The widening of the freeway is expected to significantly improve traffic capacity, resulting in reduced travel times for motorists in the area, and increase the capability and efficiency of freight transport serving the Port of Fremantle.  The project will include the construction of an intersection at South Street and Fiona Wood Road to ensure easy and safe access to the soon to be completed Fiona Stanley Hospital. In addition there will be the construction of noise walls and screen walls, realignment of shared paths along the freeway, construction and/or modification of all associated drainage, new and upgraded freeway lighting, revegetation and landscaping.

Survey Dynamics will be completing all surveying work for the Kwinana Freeway project, using machine guidance systems for optimal productivity. Surveying services will be provided for road widening, drainage and the re-location of existing services and new services. Mapping and as-cons will be completed as well as volume calculations and quantity measurements.
