This Main Roads WA project involves upgrading 92km of Marble Bar Road, from Roy Hill mine site to Port Hedland, into a two-lane, sealed road. Survey Dynamics has been contracted by Raubex for the construction of a 15km section of the upgrade – section 2A.
In this project, Survey Dynamics will be undertaking the following works:
– drone flights of the road and material stock piles
– control network for the whole length of the job
– machine control support for various heavy vehicles
– setout of the road, floodways, and culverts
– volume calculations and reporting of various project quantities for payment claims
