Survey Dynamics have been contracted to provide survey services to for the construction of 17 wind turbine pads and concrete footings for the FMG Bonney Downs Wind Farm. There are 3 x 72m3 concrete footings for each of the 17 turbine pads and 49 bolts per concrete footing. The project also includes 33kv powerline pads and corridor.
Scope of works includes:
Earthworks
- Construction of the access tracks and pads for the turbines. This involves bulk earthworks, subgrade and basecourse conformance, culvert installation and general machine control troubleshooting and design files.
- End of month drone flights for claim volumes
- Survey asbuilt of underground services
Concrete
- Setup of site control points for each turbine pad
- Setout and asbuilt of the piling works
- Setout for excavation of the concrete footing for each wind turbine
- Survey in order to keep turbine anchor bolts in place whilst the concrete is being poured
- Pre & post-pour surveys to be completed on all concrete structures with detailed pre pour reports submitted before the footings can be poured
